First day of work. Woke up a little too late and got to work with Matt around 11:15AM. We took the subway, which was COOOOOOOOL.
The team works at Koa Labs, which is basically a TechArb for Cambridge. We spent a lot of the morning just figuring out how to rearrange tables and chairs so that the newly expanded team could all work in the same space. The team used to be a manageable 4 people, but with the addition of Giles (UI/UX Intern) and Me (I dunno what my title is yet), and later Ryan (UI/UX Intern), we were struggling to feel comfortable. Everything worked out in the end and our setup is hella nice.
Some work happens.
For brunch, I got some sushi at the "Market In The Square" next door - and then quickly realized just how expensive Boston was compared to Ann Arbor. It's not that the prices are so much higher, I think. It's just that the tax is a bit more of toll than you'd think.
More work happens.
For lunch/dinner, I had no idea what to get. I was asking Horak about food and what to eat and all kinds of questions. I'm sitting there going "what am I doinggggg" and Giles says to me "... Are you even real?" Ended up getting a wrap from the same place next door. It was HUGE.
That night, I went back to the team apartment with Horak and we walked through a bit of the Harvard campus, which was gorgeous and very campus-y.

If you look closely you will see me in front of a building in harvaaaard!!!! twitter.com/lubibul/status…For dinner, it was leftover catfish from last night's Mongo BBQ (which was still delicious). And then some Adventure Time with Matt and Mike.
